The Gift of Down Syndrome Celebration is coming to the 2nd Street Market as part of World Down Syndrome Day, and organizers are looking for individuals, families, and organizations to help make this event truly special.

There are many ways to participate:

Local resource agencies interested in hosting an outreach table

Individuals or families living with Down syndrome who want to share their stories and help raise awareness

Artists, performers, and creatives with Down syndrome who would like to showcase their talents

Individuals with Down syndrome who would enjoy trying out what it’s like to work alongside a Market vendor for an hour

Teachers who work with the Down syndrome community and would like to lead a class or activity
This celebration is all about highlighting the talents, voices, and experiences of people with Down syndrome while bringing the community together.
